On Combat, by Lt. Col. Dave Grossman and The Gift of Fear by Gavin De Becker should be required reading for every first responder in the nation.
Last year I raised $4800 from local organizations and businesses to purchase Simunitions and got another $6500 from a grant to use for an active shooter response exercise. The sheep put a stop to it because they didn’t want guns in the school. The sheep think that those types of things will never happen here. The sheep are still in denial and they are wrong!

I had the pleasure of listening to Lt.Col. Grossman speak a few years back, and he is an extremely good orator as well. He is spot on with his views on Combat and Warrior Ethos. Anyone who may have to “Kill” in the course of their duty should read his book “on killing” and if ever they should get the chance, attend one of his seminar’s.
