2 weeks no cigarettes, no cans, no patch. I’m using Chantix. It works really well, other than the naseau after taking it.
It’s hard. You gotta take it one craving at a time.
Is talking to yourself also a side effect?
Me and my sister quit at the same cold turkey no patches or drugs about 8-9 years ago. Having another person going through the same thing at the same time helps. We dealt with it in opposite ways, she went out lots and tried to stay real busy, I was a shut in for awhile and played lots of video games and watched lots of movies.
By 2 weeks it should be getting lots easier. I don’t know what that drug is you said you are taking or what it is supposed to do for you, you could probably save money by going without that as well.
Particularly if it has side effects like naseau.
If I was going to have to choose between having a nic fit and having a nic fit and feeling like I was gonna puke and having to spend money for the pleasure I would pick the former.
Stick with it - Chantix works. I was in a store this week and a pack of smokes was more than $7.

Yes it is hard but stick with it. I quit about 13 years ago and I didn’t have a beer for 9 months because I new that if I did I would crave a smoke.
Congrats! Keep up with it.
Try extra VitC as well as Grape Seed supplements. A few people who’ve quit have said that helps your body get back on its feet and recover from the smoking damage.

I quit almost 2 yrs ago with Chantix, took some time but I feel so much better.
Yeah really. At roughly $5 a pack, that’s $2.50 a day for me. Thats about 3 cases of 5.56 a year or money towards a case and a class.
Strangely enough I had a really bad craving for orange juice when I first started taking it, so much so, I dreamt about grocery shopping for two weeks. Weird dreams is another side affect. My boss told me she had dreams about having threesomes. I thought I was on her bad side until we started talking about quitting smoking and she goes and tells me this, I must’ve been in one of them:D
better spent than wrecking your lungs
better yet buy a reloading press and components for 4000 rounds
