Omega X 12.0 FSP Rail Question

I have a DDM4 and I want to remove the Omega X 12.0 FSP Rail and install a different rail on my DDM4, and put this rail on another gun. How difficult is it to uninstall this rail and install it?

Thanks!

Not difficult with the right tools. You’ll need:

a) An upper receiver block to hold the upper receiver in a vice. The DPMS Panther Claw is a great unit.

b) A Daniel Defense Lite Rail Barrel Nut Wrench will be required.

c) A punch will also be required to drive out the taper pins from the FSB. Brownells makes a great FSB block that makes the job easy.

d) A proper wrench to install the barrel nut for your new free float tube nut or the standard AR-15 barrel nut and delta-ring if you are going to use standard, plastic handguards.

If you are just going to do this once, rather than purchase new tools, just have a competent AR-15 gunsmith perform the service.
