Off the cuff course of fire!

I need some classic M4carbine.net assistance. I have searched for this specific topic but I have not found what I am looking for. I know there are some ex-military, LEO and even lovers of the M4 rifle that have a lot more time on a combat rifle than myself. I’m looking for courses of fire that you may have sitting around on a disc that you can e-mail me.
Basically you have 100 yards to do whatever you want. You get to the range confirm a zero and then:

  1. You only have 100 rounds to shoot that day.
  2. You only have 100 yards and yes you can move up as much as you want.

******Before everyone starts in on me, I am just looking for ideas because I know some of you have some good ones.

What do you want to accomplish??? For me this is what drives the bus for the COF.

Great variety of rifle/pistol drills here: http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=16760&highlight=favorite+drills

All ranges, all speeds, static, moving, soup to nuts. If ya can’t find something that will suit your need, you probably don’t need it!

All start from the ready.

100 yards prone. 5 shots 20 seconds.

75 yards kneeling. 5 shots 20 seconds.

50 yards kneeling. 5 shots 20 seconds.

25 yards standing. 5 shots 8 seconds.

7 yards standing. 1 shot 1 second.

7 yards standing. 2 shots 1.5 seconds.

7 yards standing. 5 shots to body 1 shot to head, 3 seconds.

7 yards standing. 2 shots on two targets 3 seconds.

These are roughly Paul Howe’s carbine standards.

All shots must hit in the spinal box(or head for the one drill that involves it,) of this target. http://letargets.com/estylez_item.aspx?item=CSAT

To me, the above are drills designed to either test a skill set or work to imporve upon a specifc skill.

A range day COF is an overall scheme of drills put together to hammer in some specific skills.

If I want to improve moving and shooting I will use different drills than if I want to get better at shooting really fast.

This is why it is important to look at what you need to improve on, draw up a plan and use individual drills to hammer in what you need to be doing.

IMHO you get much more out of 100rds if you have planned out how each round will improve you. Also, how all 100rds come together as a hole to improve your shooting ability.
