I’ve been shooting a Stag arms carbine with the 1 in 9 twist barrel and firing 55 grain remingtion ammunition at 100 yards its keeping rounds inside a quarter
except it seems every 3rd round will be a flyer 4 to 5 inches outside the group
it seems to do this time and time again the flyer dosen’t seem to hit in the same place either it can be just about anywere.Anyone have any ideas
what could be causeing this? Another thing I notice is brass shavings all
around bolt. I’ve heard remington brass is the softest brass around and a new sharp extector could be normal under these conditions. What do you guys think?
try it with some different ammo. remington UMC is decent stuff, but not necessarily noted for accuracy.
