Ive been searching for awhile now. And cant seem to find a good picture of od and black mix xtm panels. im torn between the mix and just black. my carbine is all black right now and i think the od might be just enough different but not stick out.

I was thinking about getting the same thing. If I end up doing it, I’ll post pictures when I have it done. My grip and stock are OD already. It’s a good combo.

You lucked out. I stumbled upon this while looking at optics:
I bought some OD recently and they were darker than I expected closer to black.
OD and Foilage XTMs, the pistol grips were placed for color comparison. Under a photobox lighting they seem a lighter color. Under normal lighting they are much darker than I had seen on MagPuls website though maybe mine were from a darker color lot.
I took some pictures. With a flash, the OD XTM looks a lot more green, at least on my phone and this laptop. I would guess most photos on the net the OD XTM panels are more green then what you would see with your eyes.
They are very dark.

This is what I did as well. OD and black in this checker pattern. They look good and I like them. They are easy to get on/off with two 556 rounds per the instructions. I even cut one down to make it smaller to fit, it worked well too. I’m half color blind so the OD looks greyish to me sometimes, still like it. I feel like they make the tube a little bit larger than KAC rail covers. They don’t curve as much, maybe its just me?
i like it. im gonna order some. i also like the FDE/Foilage combo. well you guys just cost me more money. im gonna order 2-3 sets of each and get some ude too. damn yous guys
