awhile ago, I had the TNVC Cree drop in lamp in my G2 stop working. I sent Victor Di Cosola of TNVC a PM on the site here and explained that the lamp quit and after switching batteries, another G2 body, and a spare lamp that it appeared TU.
I also explained that I had no idea whether the lamp was under warranty but since I had it for a long time I wasn’t expecting anything, just some guidance on what to do. He almost immediately replied to my PM and said that I was NOT SOL and that I should send it to him.
Long story short, without questions or obfuscations, a few days after I sent it to him I received a new one. postage paid. IMO, this is how serious people who sell serious use products do things…
I also want to say that I LOVE this TNVC Cree drop in lamp for the G2, 6P, etc. It has a nice sized hotspot spilling out to a wide and very bright fill area which makes it ideal for short range or inside, and with excellent projection for long range or outside use. in short - a perfect carbine light…
