This is the first I’ve heard of this stock. I’ve been meaning to buy a Ruger 10/22 for a couple of years now but I keep putting it off. This looks like good incentive.
Funny you bring this up. I was just reading some articles on this subject and the common though was that it doesn’t matter as long a there is good bedding.
actually, it matters a lot from what I’ve read on RFC. barrel tension w/ the v-block makes a lot of difference as well so ensure there’s no interference on the barrel is ideal. Still…I’m running a Gemtech Mist on this build so not overly sensitive about accuracy.
It does if you grind off the rib at the front of the the barrel tray towards the muzzle end. You can also remove the barrel tray but it doesn’t provide the same rigidity as with the barrel tray.

I want to pick up one of these X-22 stocks in Grey. I see Black and Tan are in stock but everywhere I look says the Grey are “Coming Soon” or “Pre-Order”. Any time frame when they will be available?
