Just a heads up, it not only works on the Troy TRX, but it can mount securely to any keymod large hole by flipping around the backing plate and “washer” type thing… it can also directly thread (without backing plate) to a LMT LM8 style handguard.

I did the same thing with my NSR. The plastic washer is just the right size to fit in the keymod. I had one for my Troy Alpha and thought “you know, this might work on the NSR”. Thankfully it did. A rail attachment on top of a bipod would add some hefty weight…
It not only needs a rail attachment, but also a bipod/sling adapter. Here’s what I ended up replacing with the Noveske stud mount:
