Do all the Noveske lo pro style rifles come standard with vltor mur upper receiver or is it considered an upgrade?

The Lo-Pro’s come standard with the MUR. But the VIS is a modified version of the MUR. The MUR is forged from 7075-T6, but as for the the VIS receiver, one of the Vltor Reps replied to me back on April 7th and said “Our VIS is a combination of things. The receiver portion is machined from a 6016 forging while the rail section is made from a 6063 extrusion, and only because you cannot weld 7075.”
I’ve seen some pics of a few Noveske lo pros without the mur. Are these the early rifles which were initially produced? Was there a time when the mur became standard on the rifle?
My factory complete N4 LoPro rifle does not have the Vltor MUR… I have had it for about three years now, so things may have changed… Nicest AR platform I have ever owned.
