So, I just bought a new complete Noveske upper. A Gen III 16" CHF NSR upper. I was under the impression that I had just purchased one of the highest quality uppers I could imagine. On the way home today, I spilled the beans to my co-worker, who does a lot of shooting and has owned a few AR’s and has shot many. His response was, “Oh, you paid too much. Noveske’s are great for reliably throwing thousands of rounds, but they’re not accurate at all. Expect 3” groups at 100 yards best." He’s claiming he built an AR with a 16" CHF Noveske barrel and that’s what he was able to do, regardless of ammo. Switching the barrel solved said issue. He told me he asked on various forums and was told, “What do you expect, it’s a Noveske.”
So I just bought this thing and haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet (waiting on my lower to ship). I’m a little worried if this is true, but I’ve never heard of such a thing with Noveske. I didn’t think I could go wrong here…
