Seeing the new Noveske Shooting Team rifles/uppers on the Noveske site have my curiosity up. Description for the NST barrel reads:
16" Lightweight 5.56mm Stainless Barrel
Anyone have the specs on these as opposed to the 16" Recon - or does the NST and the Recon rifles make use of the same barrel?

The Recon is a midweight barrel and the NST is about the weight of a government profile barrel.
Very interesting - thanks for the information.
Will the lightweight NST barrels will be available separately at some point?
