Anyone here own one or have first hand experience using one? I hear the rail heats up really fast during high volume strings of fire. Anyone care to share their thoughts?
Not to us it doesn’t. I’m pretty sure we put quite a few rounds down range per year to have some thought on the matter.

I really wanted one until I saw the price. I will be sticking with the Troy Apha rail for now.

I chose the NSR for the availability of plastic covers. Normally you only get that over a rail.
Both are great rails really, especially since the Troy Alpha uses the USGI barrel nut now.
However I like the ability to add or subtract stuff without having to remove the rail in order to do so (well in order to change the position of the pic rails then in order to add stuff… you get my point).
The KeyMod feature is catching on… some interesting things coming out for it and by some interesting companies in 2013. 
I like the rail a lot from what I have read but its priced really high in comparision.
