I also shot my N4 and Colt today along with the Larue.
Here are the targets. All groups were fired with a reload consisting of mixed brass, 55 grain Ballistic Silvertip bullets, H335 powder and Remington Match small rifle primers.
I also shot my first perfect score on our departments rifle qualification. I usually drop 1 to 4 points.
The Noveske. Its a N4 upper with a Saber Defense lower I put together with a Geissele Service match trigger set at approximately 3.5 pounds. The optic is a Swarovski 1-6.
Here is the Colt 6920. I put a Geissele Service match trigger in it as well set at approximately 3.5 pounds. The optic is a Aimpoint M4 with a 3x magnifier. My astigmatism made grouping this more difficult on the smaller targets so I used black bulls.
I like the grip but honestly I like the cheaper version just as much without the interchangable front and back straps. If you have unusually large hands you will like this grip as its customizable. But if you have normal hands I believe the non adjustable version (MOE) mag pul sells is a better value.
Have someone else load your may with between 0 and 4 rounds. At the buzzer from low ready fire 6 rounds in 15 seconds. You will have to do a bolt lock reload in the middle.
Great report, thank you for sharing it. This makes me very excited to get my NT-4 RECCE middy in. I was hoping it would be here today. I am going to shave down and refinish the gas block then install the LaRue 11.0 rail that has been lonely sitting in the safe without its intended NT-4 upper.
