This forum has made me spend a lot of $$… again :D…
this is my Carbine Class/inside 100m weapon…

Special thanks to TommyH for his assembly skills (& small hands) on the LPK.
It took about a month to get all the parts together, I believe I listed everything.

Since Dr. Drake wouldn’t send me a China Doll MagPul lower, I settled for a Noveske stripped lower.
The Upper is a standard Noveske N4 Light Carbine Basic Upper like this:

I used a Colt Lower parts kit, which was easy to find.
Forearm is a MagPul MOE, which for $30 is an incredible deal, its GREAT.
Stock is a MagPul UBR, hard to find without connections… :wink:
Aimpoint T1 mounted on a American Defense two piece mounts rounds it out…
I’ll switch out the grip when I decide what to use. (suggestions)
Vickers Sling is in the safe.
As usual, Im impressed with the quality of upper end parts. Noveske, MagPul & the Colt LPK make a tasty cool-aid….




She’s light, handles great, still a virgin for a few more days.

I didn’t like the aesthetics of the magpul hand guards at first. They have grown on me to the point I’m considering them on a KISS rifle. Searching for feedback on abilities.

Sounds like I had my priorities backwards… :frowning:

I appreciate the heads up on the Magpul grips, I have been tenative about ordering them, I havent ever held one.
i’ll do more research on them.

whitelight, what would be a good one, keeping in mind I want it KISS to follow my current direction.

That looks sharp - I’m thinking of something very similar for work, only lighter still.

How would that forearm work for attaching a 2-point sling? Is it designed to have a short rail attach to one of the larger vent slots?

MagPul sells short rails for this stick, I have a couple on order to test.
for the front sling mount, Im leaning towards one of the little wire loopy thingys on the Front sight.

Personal opinion here is getting an MI FSB raile mount and puting an X300, M3X, or TLR1

Just to give you an idea of what it will look like, these are some really crappy pics of my Kissbine that I just took (flash inside at night never works well for me). I’m running a M3X on an MI FSB mount (can’t take credit, thanks to RobS for that suggestion). I want to changer the back plate on it to the pistol version as I do not like to use tape switches.
