So I have been trying to get a hold of one for some time now and havent been able to. Due mostly to them being out of stock everywhere and I happen upon coldwar shooters. Looks like they have them in stock for $225!! What on gods green earth is up with that price?
I am willing to pay a little bit of money but $225 that is a bit much to be honest. Might have to look into Aero Precision hell they are only $99 from AIM.
i paid $175 last week at the local shop for one. but the price of the semi assembled one floored me. IIRC, it was $435 minus the trigger group and stock. made my LMT/two stage/sopmod lower look like a bargain
I just can’t bring myself to pay that much for a roll mark.
A cool roll mark, no doubt, but come on! I understand supply and demand and somebody will probably pay it, but really man. $225? At least someones making some $$$.
I was gonna get a Noveske from Grant back a couple months ago, but ended up with a Saber. Very nice lower. No assembly problems. Understated roll marks, no big logo’s or anything. I’d have rather had the Noveske, but am happy with my Saber.
got lucky and paid $145 before they kicked up the price. Now, i think the cheapest is $175 and maybe that went up as well. Very happy with mine, nice and clean with no assembly problems.
Can’t wait to get the upper and complete my build. Good luck with the lower hunt.
They charge that much because will pay that much…scarily. It’s (basically) a non-stress part with a roll mark on it and if you want something cool on the side of your rifle then buy an 80% lower and finish it yourself with any goofy cross, star, goldfish you want on it.
Seriously though, there’s nothing wrong with them, but for say $50-100 over another guy it’s not like it makes the rifle shoot better, find your keys in the dark or tuck you in at night.
