First thing I thought as well. This looks awfully like a Honey Badger:

Maybe it’s a ghetto Honey Badger. Q collab is cool. I want to see a Mini Fix in .224 Valkyrie…

Found one!
Good job Noveske. HAHA
A Q Honey Badger is the same price.
Not a fan of the name, straight trigger, price, stock, or the SS barrel.
Cool gun and all; but not for me. If I wanted something like that, I would build it myself with a chrome lined barrel for half the cost.

The QD sling setup looks pretty sweet though. I bet it is a quality built gun that will be reliable, it’s just not something I would buy.
I also don’t get the PDW craze, but maybe I’m missing something.
The collaboration with Q is cool, but I have to wonder if this is the same Noveske anymore that Johnny built
Snowflakes find this term racist, I was going to pop up on this thread and decry with sarcasm that this term was racist. Lol
Truck gun + mass riots. Imagine if you will being stuck in the middle of droves of violent rioters with rioters attempting to breach your vehicle. A PDW in .300 Blkout or even 5.56 with barrier blind rounds that will expand at lower velocities are exactly what I want in that scenario.
This + home defense. Pretty much does everything you’d ever need inside 100 yards in a tidy package.
Unless you had some personnel connection to him or the company, I don’t see why it matters.
Snowflakes find everything to be racist, **** them, they can go ahead and melt.
What part of this thread makes you wonder that?
I can’t be the only one that is waiting in shaking anticipation for the calling everyone a snowflake fad to die off, can I?
On topic, Noveske’s marketing campaigns did change quite a bit after John passed away. I’m not sure who took over but everything seems much more laid back, with a splash of 2A hipster thrown in there in their ads and videos.
JMO, but the new marketing is why I no longer buy Noveske. I still have some older noveske stuff, but they lost me long time ago. I guess I’m just getting older. If I was early to mid 20’s, maybe id been interested? It maybe being produced by the same people who make the Q (upper looks to be anyways). For the money id not buy either one with all the quality parts you can buy and assemble your self.
I feel several echo your same views on the new marketing, and I had a feeling that would happen. When John was alive their reputation for quality and accuracy was the advertising that they needed. And an excellent looking rollmark ![]()
Side note, who do you feel makes the best 300BLK barrel and upper out there?
With the exception of select barrels they offer I’m pretty much done buying Noveske as well. They seem to be adopting the Spike’s Tactical model of marketing, which strategically, in terms of the long fight to preserve and sustain the 2A, I think is going in the wrong direction. WRT the name “Ghetto Blaster”, while I respect a company’s right to give a middle finger to the PC sensitive crowd, I do not feel that it helps our cause at all. Interesting little blaster, but not an ideal marketing strategy. Referring to it as an N4 PDW or something simple along those lines would’ve been just fine.
Mrs Noveske took over, which is why it is much more hipster and has a different feel. She has her own style, and it carries through with the current Noveske Rifleworks company. John had wanted his boys to take over the company, but obviously they are too young.
For clarity, no one is ever going to take John Noveske’s spot, he will never be replaced. Different presidents can be hired to fill that position, but they are never going to fill his shoes. Things are not the same, they never will be.
Not a snowflake by any means but get the issue with “Ghetto Blaster” as a marketing tool. Most would agree such a term conjures up images of a Hi-Point or Tec-9 and really does little to enhance the perception of quality.
That makes sense, thank you for clarifying everything. I agree also, John can’t be replaced.
Unless something has changed, it’s still Noveske.
I emailed back and forth with John while trying to figure out exactly what I wanted with the 300 BLK platform. It was obvious he had really done his homework, in order to find out exactly what was needed for everything to work as well as it possibly could. As far as I know, he was the first to determine a 1/7" twist worked best for heavy subsonic, and made barrels with that twist before anyone else.
