Does anyone know what size taper pin Noveske uses on his VLTOR GB’s? Is it a size 0 or 1? I know Colt taper pins are size 2/0.
What is the length on the Noveske pins? 7/8"? 1"??
Any help appreciated.
Every n4 and stainless barrel I have handled has had a straight pin.
Mine has a straight 1/8" pin.
It’s my understanding that early Noveske’s used taper pins, but all current production units use straight pins. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.
Good info, as I didn’t know about the straight pins. My N6 AR10 purchased about a year or two ago, definitely had a single SS taper pin installed in it. Should have measured it before I sold it, but I know for a fact it was larger than standard Colt taper pins…
