Here is my Shuff’s Mini G up for sale WARNING This is a bastardized Garand, it is an abomination, if you have any objections I’m sorry but this is one hell of an awesome rifle, as long as you have no true love to the M1 Garand.
I got this 2.5 years as a deployment present for myself. It is a Shuff’s Mini G. Several magazine articles and reviews have been done on these, they are phenomenal rifles. Shuff breathes new life into worn out Garands with a 16 inch barrel and his design of bending the OpRod and adding an adjustable gas system.
My particular rifle was one of the only 50 he can do a year. Mine is ’43 ish vintage Springfield Receiver and features the Smith Muzzle Brake. I have shot LC M2 ball ammo and Federal 150 grain soft point ammo. Because of the adjustable gas system, once tuned, will run any kind of ammunition. Once mine was tuned for one of the ammo’s I’ve used it has ran without hiccup.
I have a Ramline synthetic stock currently installed. I stippled the forend and pistol grip area and Duracoated the stock (not rifle or wood stock) in a sponge pattern.
Sling is a Specter Gear 2 point sling in Tan.
Disclosure-there is one spot on the handguard of synthetic stock where the Duracoat didn’t take well, and a small chip from the wood handguard see pics
For Ammo I have two complete LC Ammo cans (280 rounds each) and a partial can (216 rounds) that are already loaded in En Bloc clips with cardboard protectors (716 total). I have 200 rounds of Igman ball ammo new in boxes. I have a box or two of Federal 150 grain SP.
