The sharkskin trimmed holster is not new and has been my daily companion since a certain member here temporarily lost his sanity and sold it to me. The other two arrived today:
I have owned leather holsters from Galco, Milt Sparks, Mitch Rosen (premier not the express line), and others. Of the leather holsters that I have seen first hand or owned and used, none have impressed me as much as the holsters from Nossar. I just paid for another order with Nossar today, which will be my 5th from Nossar!
I could not be happier with my new Nossar leather.
If I may offer a few things about the man and his holsters–
I call Alex Nossar “The Peruvian Vin Deisel” as there is quite a resemblance. Alex is a very interesting guy who has parlayed his passion for guns and shooting into a business and an avenue to some interesting acquaintences, destinations, and jobs. He is also an avid outdoorsman and hunter.
Besides being of top quality, his leather work is innovative and the designs and features tell you that they come from a real-deal gun guy. You don’t go about in his neck of the woods unarmed if at all possible. On top of all that they just… smell so great:D .
I am no longer the source for Nossar Gunleather in the US. Folks can now deal with him direct. I basically got to where I couldn’t take it any more-- getting all that great leather in and then having to send it to the customer… just too much heartbreak…:eek:
i just got two iwb’s and a valovak in the mail on Saturday. i have yet to find the sweet spot on my hip for them. and the trigger guard boning is SUPER-tight, it almost won’t release my pistol.
we’ll see how they break in
p.s. i don’t know if i like the belt loop aat the thickest part of the holster
My camera gear is being shipped back to me, as we used it at my wedding on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii a couple weeks ago. so pics will have to wait for a bit.
