No, these appear to be the same Nosler 64 grain bonded bullets that have been loaded in Winchester RA556B ammunition.

ETA: SGAmmo has RA556B in stock for $32 a box.
The muzzle velocity is listed on the box as 2935.
Noslers 7 lists 4 powders.
- imr 4895 23 min to 25 max
- varget 23min to 25 max
- benchmark 21 min to 23 max
- cfe223 24 min to 26 max- most accurate tested
All four “most accurate” were the max load.
And velocities at max hovered around 2900 out of a 26 inch barrel.

Trouble is, I don’t use any of those powders.
I need data for H322, H335, and TAC.
thats pretty slow for a 26" barrel should that be a 16" barrel?
I’d go to the Hodgdon site and use the starting loads for the 63gr sierra. I’m sure they’d have loads with H335 and H322 there.
I have the new manual and was thinking the same, no way that’s the highest velocity out of a 26 inch tube.
Not sure how comfortable you are doing this, but you can work up your own load…just be VERY conservative and do alot of research before you throw that first powder charge.
If you can’t find the load data direct from the manufacturer or a book, then really pay attention to powder burn rates and similar constructed bullets, bullet weights, ect. and how those all play with each other.
This is what I had to do for my TBBC loads since it was as if nobody had ever put powder behind that bullet! :rolleyes:
ETA: Your job may be a little easier since you actually have data for that particular bullet…just not the powder you’re looking for. Compare burn rates, or find one that is very similar, and adjust accordingly.

Western powders has a great PDF format for their load data on the website. They do have the 63 gr Sierra which is very similar for TAC load data.
the 63 grain sierra is probably the closest you will get but the bullet construction is very different. i have been sitting on some of these i got before they released them as a component and will be working them up in the next couple weeks.
i was even told buy nosler in a email to use any data from a softpoint bullet from 62 to 64 grains and start at min. i chose to wait for nosler7 load data. if they added other companies bullets it would be my new favorite manual. it is very nice, i like it much better than number 6.
the velocities do not go much above 2900fps because the best performance is supposed to be in the 2800fps range, and these expand down to 1600fps so there is no need to push them really hard.
if i remember correctly when i put some numbers for my area into jbm for this bullet at 2800fps they will hit the 1600fps mark a little after 400 yards. i have talked to guys running this bullet in 22-250 at over 3000fps that said they were getting sub moa accuracy, and the bullet was still holding together great.
25 grs. Varget should do the trick. It’s what I use for 65 gr. Sierra Game Kings.

Got some good data today with the Nosler 64gr bsb round. Below are the results using my 16" LMT MRP with a MagnetoSpeed V2 Chronograph. These are true muzzle velocities. The Silver State Armory rounds freakin’ cook. I even had one popped primer with their load. I’m pretty happy with my load and will continue to work to shrink the SD and ES numbers. So far, I’ve tried Varget, 8208 xbr and CFE223 with CFE223 giving me the best groups. I may try some H322 since I have that on hand.

Wow. That is VERY hot for the ssa stuff. Ssa advertises a muzzle velocity of 2820 ( or there abouts) from a 16" barrel. I have a bunch of the ssa stuff. It has always been very accurate and you can feel that is is true 556 pressure… But not excessivlely so. Maybe it is time for me to run some over a chronograph as well. Was all the ssa stuff you shot of the same lot number? How long ago was it purchased?
I couldn’t find a lot number and had only bought a few boxes about 6 months or so ago. I would be interested to see chrono results from others.
thanks for the info accuser i was planning on loading some last week and had to go out of town again. i think i will use the cfe to get some rounds loaded and shot to see if i like the load for deer season this year.
the ssa load you tested was pretty hot for there claimed 2820mv. does your mrp have a factory chrome lined barrel? im just curious, because that is what i will be doing load development with. most likely it will also be the deer gun this year.
Yep, I was using the factory chrome lined 16" DI MRP barrel. CFE does look promising with this bullet. The SSA load is stout and you can really feel the recoil. I’ll try to get back to the range in a couple of weeks and test the accuracy of their load.
