Just thought I’d share my surprise regarding a recent load with the new Nosler 60 g Ballistic tips in a 1/9 twist 20" AR rifle. This is my play rifle and I’m working up a load for plates. 26 grains of varget resulted in sub-moa from a standard chrome lined factory barrel with a 5.56 chamber. I am very surprised and I hope you can try it out. I was using PMC military cases marked PS and Remington primers. I personal do not think cases or primers matter. I’ll run a ladder test 25-27 grains with some velocity numbers later. I have the loads ready, just getting a no wind day is tuff right now. Maybe in a few weeks or months.
