You do speak to where I was going: you are aware of the historical ties of the products/services you choose to use, and choose to use them anyway. I think most of us are this way; I think most of us have a hard line with some products/services, but not all. That’s OK. Hypocritical? Meh, maybe. Human nature? Sure.

At almost 55 with cancer I am not nearly as hard on outdoor stuff as I used to be, but I don’t know that I would NOT buy TNF or Patagonia or Arc’teryx because of their social pandering or, in the case of Arc’teryx, making something in a sweat shop in Bangladesh for pennies on the dollar if it is what I need.
