HS3334 North Face Police style jacket is on sale @ OMB Express for $49.99.
It is not Gore-tex, but rather North Face’s Hyvent material. It is absolutely waterproof, and I used this jacket combo in the M4Carbine Vicker Mod/Staff Class during torrential rain. I rate it an A++.
It’s cut like a duty jacket, a little short, but with side zip ups for access to holsters, radio, duty belt, etc.
The color is such a dark blue, that it almost looks black:

I like it so much, and the price was so good, I bought another one - but in 2XL to hopefully get a little longer length.
I’ve got a North Face HyVent jacket too(don’t know the model #). I’ve been in some terenchel downpours with it keeps me dry and warm in the winter which is really nice when I’m in the barn in minus some odd degrese(I don’t like the cold).
Seems like a very nice jacket with many features for a great price. If you need XXL or larger.
The T.N.F. lifetime warranty is not worth the paper it is written on though. Good thing the jacket is only $50. T.N.F. should be considered urban mountaineering wear.
