Nordic Pmag extenders - JUNK?

Received my Nordic Pmag extender last night. Installed this morning. Watched the video. Read the instructions. Assembled the extension in a few short minutes. Loaded 48 rounds, as advertised. POP! The screw holes shattered and broke free.

I don’t know what Nordic considers too tight, but I made sure not to over torque the screws. The shattering occurred after stuffing rounds down the mag. What the hell?

Hopefully Brownells will send out a no-fuss replacement. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I’ve had no issues with mine. Perhaps they had a bad batch where the plastic was too brittle?

So thanks to Brownell’s, I just received my replacement Nordic PMag extender. It has already begun to shatter! What’s the deal. I didn’t over tighten, but did tap the bottom on the ground. If that is the cause, then these things are not built to last.

Is there a better round extender for the Pmag?
