noob rogers super stock question

I just bought my first AR, a new colt with the Rogers super stock. I put the sling on through the top mount but it twists and binds too easy because the slot seems a bit too large. There is a QD sling swivel on the bottom but I have no idea how to use it or what I need to do to make it functional.

I guess I’m just looking for tips on how I should hook my sling up, or what type of sling to even use.

While I’m at it I went to my local gunstore to buy a case for it, and the only cases that would fit my colt are poorly made. Anybody know a good place online to order a nice gun case?

What kind of sling do you have?

Get this:

Put it on the rear end of the sling and push it through the stock’s QD sling swivel socket.

Thought you said above that you have a sling.

If you want a different sling, get this one, same place as the sling attachment, isn’t that convenient. :slight_smile:

Ditch that old school carry sling. The modern two points quick adjust type slings are much better. The Vickers Combat Application Sling is the best there is. Better materials, better made and it helps the economy of my state. :slight_smile:

Hey Sam, should I order the 1" or 1.25" sling swivel to go with that vickers sling?

Does Natchez still have the big Eagle blowout sale? They had some screaming deals on Eagle rifle cases not too long ago.

I’ll second the recommendation for the Vickers sling. Get the padded version, it’s the heat.

1.25" will fit the Vickers sling.
