non-CAST lower parts... do they exist?

Recently broke a magazine catch… don’t want that happening again…

Does anyone make lower parts, in particular the mag catch, that is not cast steel?

Most guys would say Colt would be a safe bet for quality.

Does anyone know if Colt’s are MIM or not… ?

I’m paranoid now and want to go with an all milled parts kit… is this even available?

I sort of feel your pain, as I busted the button off a bolt stop a few
years back. I’d been smacking it for many years, even so…
I’d say that your best bet would most likely be to get a hold of SAW
and get real Colt parts. I’d have to think that these would be
among the best, if not the best lower parts you could get. Might not
be so critical for a range weapon, but a duty piece needs the best
you can get!
