Noise Issue - Question about a ready to go suppressed rifle

I have been LE for 28 years.

Recent issue has arisen about the noise as our firing range is near residential area.

We are shooting patrol rifles more at night hours these past two years and I can see how the noise complaints would arise.

I have zero time behind a suppressed rifle and recently our SWAT team put suppressors on their 10.5s and are having issues. I don’t deal with their maintenance but I manage the patrol rifles.

I was instructed to come up with alternatives for our range use.

I would like to propose the purchase and use of 5 dedicated suppressed training 11.5" semi auto rifles.

My workload has increased 1000% and it would be difficult for me to piece meal rifles and suppressors and get them to work 100%.

from a dollar value, I would like to present to our Admin a store bought 11.5" suppressed rifle ready to go. (meaning the proper bolts and any other accessory to ensure no issues with suppressors or complete reliability right out of the box)

Am I asking for too much?

if not…can you direct me to a company(s) that can set me up?

budget time is around the corner…I want to have my paperwork ready to go.

It will be a tall order…5 suppressed rifles, 30 red dot optics, and about 30 Glock 9mms to include holsters and accessories. I will need some luck.

thanks in advance

I’d start with contacting Sionics. Not sure if they can meet your needs for complete rifles, but they have an 11.5” RGP for dedicated suppressed use. I believe they have contracts with other LE agencies to supply complete guns. I really have no idea if they can help but they make good stuff.

I think the scionics have a .07 gp, and I heard LMT does as well… But I could be mistaken.

I would get with Iraqgunz and work out a deal with Sionics for 11.5" RGP barreled rifles. They do LE guns regularly and the barrel is designed to be run suppressed.

Damn, I was too slow. I think this will be a common suggestion here.

Email sent to Sionics…

thanks guys.

one more question…our SWAT guys are running Colt 10.5 LE6945s. Full auto bolts and H3 buffers. Stock charging handles.

I don’t know what suppressors they bought…

what direction should I send them to get their guns to run right.

I know gas in the face and unreliability are the issues.

From what I can recall, the barrel gas port OD might be too big.

is their a simple fix to this?

Dedicated suppressed guns should have appropriately small gas ports.

Short of chopping down a 16" barrel or sourcing a dedicated suppressed barrel, our custom tune gas ports are the simplest way to get a small gas port with an existing FSB.

PM sent. This is also something we can probably tackle as well.
