NightHawk Predator II

Looking forward to the pics and range report. Congratulations.

Please post a pic of the test target when it comes in also.

Thank-you and will do on both.

Great Choice!!!

To make a rather long story short, there was a bottom line glitch in the matrix, and the Predator II I ordered could not be built as ordered.

The folks at NightHawk were fantastic about stepping up and making everything spectacularly right in an astonishingly quick time.

And so, may I present to you my new Talon (II) 9mm.

Custom requests I made:

9mm cal./ Bobtail/ Black Nitride Finish/Name etched after finish applied/ Everlast Recoil System/ Novak Night Sights/ Recessed & Beveled Crown

Test target:

Target from its first range session with me: (7 rnds at 7yards)

Very nice pistol?
If I may ask, how much was it?

This pistol is identical to the .45 except for the clambering?

How many rounds does the magazine hold? Is it a standard magazine or proprietary?

Thanks

Thank-you.
Because of the glitch involving the predator, I’m actually not 100% sure on the price on the Talon.

Yes, it is the same as the 45 (excepting for the caliber) Oh, and the amount of recoil. it is smooooth.

The mags are by Nighthawk. They hold 9 rounds, but, at this point in time, seem to work better with only 7 rounds loaded. Will post up pics of them.

Gbird, how many .45 1911’s do you have? I too don’t understand the logic behind a 9mm. Too each his own, I have several 9mm plastic guns that are very nice, I’m not 9mm hater. I just don’t get straying away from the history, nostalgia and the bloodline that makes the .45 ACP 1911. All you used to have to say was " I got a 45".

I have a talon and dig it. Super sweet I put Heine straight eights on it too.

The first gun that I “fell in love with” was a friend’s .45 1911.
The first gun I purchased as my own was a .45 1911 (not the same one) S&W Commander E-Series. It’s a great pistol and I enjoy and trust it.

Enjoy , it will be special. No doubt. NHC is good people

Was talking with a Nighthawk rep today… no the magazines are not proprietary. I will be ordering some Wilson Combat mags. See if the gun likes them any better than the ones that came with it.

Thanks.

NHC people have been really great.
