Nick Matthews iwb holster Walther PPQ

I recently inquired with my favorite holster maker Nick Matthews if he offered his holsters for the Walther PPQ. He said he would order a mold and have my holster ready within 2 weeks. I like his iwb holsters but they have a little too much cant for my taste so I ordered mine with a FBI cant.

Here is a pic of the holster I received;

Can you post up a bit of review, tell us all what your impressions of the holster is? I honestly have never heard of his holsters before, but am always open to hear new information. :slight_smile:

There isn’t much to say other than that the quality is top notch, the fit is excellent, the handgun is hugging my hip, the belt snaps aren’t a pita to operate and that nick is open to custom orders which will arrive at your door step quickly.
I’ve had a milt-sparks vm2 before and this holster carries the gun just as we’ll.
Only thing to consider is that his #1 holster has a more extreme cant which is why I specify FBI cant.

I had a nick mathews #1 back when I had my 1911. I carried it every day in that holster up until i sold the gun. The only reason i haven’t ordered another for my g19, is he doesn’t make anything that will hold a g19 and tlr.

Nick’s a great guy. I always had good comms with him, and I remember his turn around being fairly decent.

Wow, totally forgot about this thread. Appreciate the reviews on the holsters fellas, I do tend to like a pretty extreme cant for concealment purposes so my interest is peaked. Though I haven’t experimented much with leather holsters to tell you the truth.

As to the OP, if you’ve ever carried something like a Glock 19 (since nearly everyone has), how would you compare your ability to conceal the PPQ with that particular holster? Prints quite a bit more, or pretty much the same?

Thanks again.
