NFA/Trust Questions

Hey All,

I am interested in registering a couple of AR-15 lowers I have as S.B.R.'s and am going to go the trust route. I already have my trust set up, which I took care of using Quicken WillMaker and had the paperwork notarized. I have a couple of questions however.

  1. Do I list the name of the trust in box 3a on the Form 1? The box says Trade Name (if any), I assume that would be the name of the Trust or Corp.?

  2. For box 10 on the Form 1 (Name and Title of Authorized Official of Firm or Corporation) I assume I would put My Name, Trustee? Is this correct?

  3. What exactly is the difference between the Certificate of Trust and the Declaration of Trust?

box . . . I’d leave it blank.

10 is going to be your name as it appears in the trust e.g. John Doe, Trustee - this is the printed name and title (as found in the trust) that should match the signature in box 9
