Hello,

I would like to ask a question concerning my first SBR. The appropriate forms have been filled out, 5330.20 & 5320.1 form 1.

The rifle I wish to use is a Colt M4 Match Target that I own. I would like to send it to the gentlemen at ADCO to have the barrel cut to 14.5 inches after I receive the stamp.

I planned on sending a copy of the tax stamp along with the upper. Is the way I am proceeding about doing this correct or am I doing something improperly.

The receiver is being engraved also.

You don’t need to send a copy of your form1. Short barrels aren’t controlled items. You just can’t put it on a gun until you have your approval.

You need to replace the barrel with a factory 14.5" Colt.

After reading your post, I think that would be an excellent idea.

I think I will order one and just have it installed when everything goes through.
