NFA gun trust lawyer wanted in las vegas

anyone know a lawyer in vegas area specialized gun trust? what is the total cost with lawyer?

if i want to build a SBR, do i pay tax stamp on the upper or the lower? which one do i have to wait for the appoval from BATFE?

form 1 to build, and form 4 to transfers?

sorry i am new to this NFA stuff,

thanks for all your help;)

The lower receiver is registered as the SBR with a form 1. Once I got approval from the BATFE, I started to build my SBR.

I just recently purchased a suppressor from a dealer and I had to fill out a form 4.

I hope this helps

LMT - Did you have any luck finding a lawyer who’s familiar with preparing a NFA Trust in the Las Vegas area? I’m really interested as well! Thanks.

Me three

I was referred to Bolick & Boyer by a friend. They were on the ball with communications through e-mail and over the phone which I was very happy with. However, they wanted $1500 so I declined to use their services.
I think I’ll be going the home trust route and saving quite a few pennies in the process unless someone knows of a more reasonably priced alternative to B&B.

I did it with theguntrustlawyer.com, they charge $600, is too much money IMO, but can’t find one locally, I’ve emailed another lawyer in elko for a friend, just waiting for him to reply, I’ll let you know if he’ll do it for less.

Does the name of a trust have to be unique or anything else? Spending pennies on ammo now, but I can hear the suppressor calling me, very faintly.

FMCDH,

I simply named my trust after my wife and I and we used Quicken Willmaker at a local store that has done it for MANY customers. Mine was approved no problem.

What’s the name of that local store?

Arizona Tactical Firearms in Tempe, AZ.

Thanks! Not sure if they’ll be able to do it for a Vegas local but I’ll give them a shot next week when I’m down in that area.

My guess would be no, unless they can transfer the item to a dealer in your area. Not sure what costs are involved.

Maybe I’m not being clear… stupid internet  I would only want them to create the trust not sell me an NFA item. I’ve already purchased a Noveske SBR that’s in the process of getting approval to be transferred to my Class 3 dealer here so now I’m looking at creating a trust in the near future. Have a good day!

Maybe they would do it. I paid 45.00 for them to do mine. Then I went and had the necessary forms notarized, and sent everything out with my payment. You could even call them as they have a website. Just Google Arizona Tactical Firearms.
