Missed out on a light recce lo pro but dealer has a recon w/vis - other than price what are the significant differences other than monolithic upper and SS v. chrome barrel? Thnx
Different models have different features, but the Noveske website is pretty good with listing out the details. The N4 barrels tend to be thinner profile than the SS variants, which keep them lighter. There is a lot of good info on their website about what makes the different barrels so good, but its still a matter of figuring out what your intended role is for the weapon, and then matching that with what weapon you need.
Noveske makes a fair number of barrels - the N4/Lite profile CHF Chrome Lined barrels up to their medium contour SS models.
If you want a Noveske unit, figure out which barrel you want to use, and THEN work out the handguard and upper configuration you want to go with it. If you want the VIS, that makes sense, but a MUR with DD Lite will also run great.
