I just purchased a Huldra Tactical Elite today and my frog lube arrived in the mail. How should I treat the weapon with the lube prior to firing? Thanks for any advice.
Heat the parts then brush it on and wipe off the excess. Did it come with directions?
Congrats on your first AR.
Thanks. I guess there were directions. I’m too busy looking at the AR lol. As for heating it up, i guess its ok to put the entire upper in a 150 degree oven?
Blow Dryer will keep the little lady off your back ![]()
No offense but there are stickies on this site about these sorts of questions. If you click on Forums you’ll see which ones they are.
I’ve never, ever, heard of that brand of AR could you post some pictures of it? The FAQs will help you with this if you don’t already know how to upload photos onto the site.
I will post some soon. There are some threads here about Huldra. Its made by Adams exclusively for Mills Fleet Farms
Please take the time to look over the owners/operators manual. In addition we have numerous threads here on inspecting and maintaining your weapon.
Okay, my account was just approved today and necroposting isn’t my style. I don’t generally look at newer threads, just ones that I feel interested in or wish to reply to. Have a link to those threads?
Please use the search feature and or Google and you will find plenty of information.
Sorry I was referring to the original poster.
Lube it if you want, though quality weapons shoot just fine out of the box.
And what the hell is a “Huldra”?
Piston AR
With a little looking you will see their name amongst the others who pay to advertise in this site.
The huldra is a stunningly beautiful, sometimes naked woman with long hair; though from behind she is hollow like an old tree trunk, and has an animal’s tail. In Norway, she has a cow’s tail, and in Sweden she may have that of a cow or a fox. Further in the north of Sweden, the tail can be entirely omitted in favor of her hollow or bark-covered back.
I was surprised there was no manual with the gun but I do have some limited knowledge from my once a year AF qual. course with the M16. I’m sure it will run ok out of the box but figured i may as well frog lube it new if thats the lube im going to use.
I’d call it a dangerous woman.
The Huldra is a very nice rifle. Fleet Farm HQ is right here and some shooters I know and respect highly use them. I saw three of them run hard at a recent Tricon course without a hiccup. Search on Huldra here on M4C. All three of those guys post here, including the owner of the brand, and will bend over backwards to answer any questions you have.
Looks pretty damn nice to me: http://www.huldraarms.com/rifles/product_914ffd5b2cff/
Congrats OP. Shoot it, a lot.
I had never heard of it either until I went to Iowa for Christmas. That brand is popular in the midwest I guess.
I think they are a gas piston. Unless that was all they had in stock at the time I’m. Not sure.
Guys, Huldra is a site sponsor.
They are at the top of the page .
They even have a sub-forum in our “Manufacturer’s Forum”.
So before anyone crucifies the OP about using the search function…
I learned that once I tried using the search button, after a moderator told me to do so.
I removed part of my post because it was an opinion with no support whatsoever.
