Just got this recently and haven’t had the chance to shoot it yet. Came with a little
booklet detailing the history of this particular rifle (manufacture date of September 1979), but it’s all in Serbian so I’m just guessing at some of the entries.
Seems to be in nice condition, with a mint bore, so I’m happy:

Make sure you field strip it and seriously clean everything, as those things came with about 3 gallons of cosmoline in each rifle.

Great rifle for the price. I would suggest sending the trigger out to Bill Springfield for his “tune up”.
Mine handily explodes 1 gallon water jugs at 100 yards
I really like the log book that some of them come with. Gives a sense of authenticity to the rifle. I have a “beater” Yugo SKS, and one that is absolutely mint, and is displayed with my “hunting” rifles in a wooden case.

They’re fantastic deer rifles here in Missouri, reliable as hell, quite accurate for 7.62x39mm, and provide endless fun if you can find a tennis ball grenade launcher adapter.
Keep it stock and take care of it. There are fewer and fewer good condition ones every year because people bastardize them with “upgrades” and shoot corrosive ammo without cleaning.
Very nice score. I’d keep it stock, but if you want to “upgrade,” remember Yugo’s have a different style gas tube/upper hand guard than other SKS’.
The best upgrade is a ZRAK ON-89.
Where did you score the ZRAK ON-89?
I got it a couple years ago from a Surplus parts dealer in New England, can’t remember his name. Still, it cost as much as the unissued rifle. There are a couple people bringing them in the country now. Prices have gone up. 
The optics are clear, field of view great, and you can still load with the stripper clips.

Nice setup! I see that Zrak products are made in Sarajevo, my old stomping ground. I’d invest in one buy my Yugo SKS hasn’t seen much use in the last 6 years.
