Looks like they WERE back but the website hasn’t been updated since 2020 and no email contact. And when they came back they didn’t bring back the Madison Performance Index and the Hall of Shame with it to note the worst offenders. And their address is out of date, they’re now in Georgia.

Maybe the gop should have tried getting more gop voters to turn out since libertarians are not republicans and republicans are not libertarians.
It’s no less than stunning that 75 million Americans voted for Harris after four years of abusing America with insane polities, including open borders and daily gaslighting from autopen’s press secretary. As I have said on this very site a number of times over the years: roughly half of the American voting public has it’s head firmly planted up it’s ass at any given time. Sure, there may be 2% to 5% swings either way in any random election, but it applies to about half of the public. You’ll never again see a 49-state sweep like Reagan in ‘84.
They did, but Trump telling people not to bother was a big demotivator for too many Republican voters.
The Socialist/Marxists are smart enough to know that in the United States, politics is a two team sport. They’ve made the smart move to put the efforts towards influencing one of those teams and are now on the brink of taking it over. Meanwhile, Libertarians (who claim to be for smaller government) are content to literally lose every election that they participate in. They’d rather vote for a candidate that they know is going to lose than vote for one who can win that’s more closely aligned with the views than the other candidate that can win. I’m a social conservative and don’t agree with Libertarians on some issues (open borders, gay marriage, allowing the sale of any kind of drugs, etc.). However, I agree with them on the important issue of making government smaller, state powers, etc. and know that they’d actually have better luck implementing what they believe in if they’d work within the Republican party.
There is NOTHING…zip, zero, nada…that a libertarian or other group wanting limited government/more freedom has in common with democrat/republican goals of larger government.
Neither the democrat or republican party will allow their opponents to push the concept of smaller government/individual liberty.
The gop occasionally paying lip service to the notion during campaign seasons(such as currently claiming to be pushing for national concealed carry) is merely a ruse to get votes which will never be brought up once they get elected.
I generally enjoy having political discussions, but there’s no point in having one with someone who constantly misrepresents and strawmans your positions.
Personally, I choose to participate in the political process. Sometimes my team does what I want and sometimes they give into pressures and do things that I don’t want. That’s just reality, but you can’t ever win if you sit on the sidelines and don’t play.
I couldn’t be happier that the Democratic Party opened the Pandora’s Box of Socilism, it’s damned Tar Baby that they cannot now rid themselves of.
That they are just now learning about what Socialism/Communism means and already Hakeen Jefferies is in their sights And they want to take him out.of Power.
As the Democrats Struggle with this bag of snakes I remember Republcans having to deal with Democrats in the same way.

Trump has, for all the ways he pisses both traditional libertarians and traditional conservatives off daily, put more points on the board for both than any other Libertarian or Republican presidential candidate this side of Reagan.
You want to advance libertarian causes, run libertarian candidates in the GOP primaries and win them. Do what the Commies did to the Dems, flay their party and wear it as a skinsuit. But to due that you need to play less on strident intellectual/abstract-principle superiority that pisses the Normies off and explain how your policies help THEM at the checkbook and in their everyday lives. Smart libertarians understand this and build followings among their district’s constituency - this is how Rand Paul wins, even though I have disagreements on some issues with him.
Commies have always done well in both parties because they want power and control which is desireable to both parties.
Advocating for “a wise, frugal administration that protected citizens from harm while otherwise leaving them free to regulate their own lives” is not going to be tolerated by the upper echelons of either party or their voters.
This is exactly right. I’d say that I agree with Trump 75% of the time. However, he’s accomplished more of what I want than guys I agreed with 95% of the time who failed to deliver when they had the opportunity.
