I came across this photo today.
It looks like a new model Accupoint. Maybe a 1-6? Who knows something?!?!?
I’ve got some $$ burning a hole in my pocket that was set aside for a new optic, but this could easily sway me if it has the right specs. I love my TR24G, if this is works as well as that did but with a better reticle, then I’m all in.

Looks like it might have adjustable reticle illumination brightness or maybe just a different illumination housing.
I’d like to hear more.
Meh, it’s Trijicon we’re talking about here… I’d be highly surpised if this actually came with a modern, worth-a-damn reticle (non-bdc). But, if they’ve finally gotten it right, I’d maybe consider it.
I found the original thread this pic came from on Enos. Guy who took the picture and looked through it said he thought the glass was an improvement over the TR24, but used same reticle.
My enthusiasm is waning.
Yeah, I read that post on Enos’ and the author said his was a triplex with dot.
I’d be interested only if it had a daylight bright dot with stadia lines and mil hashes or dots.
I’m not optimistic, but I do hope Trijicon gets it right
I feel like we have all been screaming for something like a TR24 with mil reference marks instead of BDC. This 1-6x24 would be a perfect opportunity for it, and it would be a huge seller. I just don’t know why they have been so resistant.
It’s there new powered fiber optic array. No new reticle from what I’ve heard.
I don’t get it, if they just put a mil stadia and made 0.1 mil adjustments a 1-6 accupoint would literally be THE scope to have. Hell, if they updated their 1-4 this way it would be a huge winner.
Looks like we’re going to know more about this scope today, I read it will be available with “existing reticles” and a new “MOA-dot” with some circle around it. Doesn’t really sound appealing, I’m baffled by this because they put a mil dot in the 2.5-10 Accupoint (including the new x42). Anyway, checking trijicon’s website it looks like Triji is in the process of updating their website.

Yep, looks pretty good. The only point of hesitation for me is the SFP reticle.
I see that as a good thing, FFP reticles complicate illumination, this looks like it will be very quick at 1x and very useful at 6x for ranging and hold over.
Exit pupil suggests a very good eyebox, good eye relief, no batteries needed, very impressive field of view… Without actually seeing one and spending time with it, I can’t really come up with much of any criticism of it. Makes the VCOG obselete IMO and the street price will be very reasonable.
Maybe it’ll bring the vcog price point down to a more reasonable one…and with this release, I wonder if we will see a fair amount of used vcogs hitting the market.

MSRP is $1,599, Msrp for the 1-4 is $1250. Generally Triji scopes have a street price around 75% of MSRP and occasionally you can find them under that. I’m guessing this scope will be a hot ticket item for the foreseeable future so maybe street price will be a little higher. Mil dot reticle will likely be the most popular model.
So ideally, it looks like what people really wanted with the VCOG?
The MSRP for the 1-4x is $899. As of this post, opticsplanet has them on sale on a add to cart to show price deal. For the $ this looks like a very solid deal.
Agreed…1-6x makes the accupoint much more appealing to me
