New TA31 RCO M150 CP

Anyone know the difference between the Army’s new TA31 RCO M150 CP, and the USMC’s TA31 RCO M4???

Here is the new RCO M150CP

Here is the USMC’s TA31 RCO M4, which has been out for a while, and has been my favorite ACOG for a long time. The website has always said it’s calibrated for a 14.5" bbl (funny, I thought the USMC was big on using the 20" bbl), but anyhow, I’m just trying to determine the difference between the two. Anyone here know?

Trijicon has the RCO A4 for the 20" M16.

Yes, this is correct, and a long known fact. In addition, the USMC has the TA31 RCO-M4 for their guns (14.5" bbls I believe?), and thus my question, regarding the new model, and it’s purpose?
I have had problems with the Trijicon page that “staind” linked above.
Each time I try to open it, it says Trijicon is updating their site.
STAIND,
Does that page compare the TA31 RCO M4 vs TA31 RCO A4 vs the new TA31 RCO M150 CP???
I just cannot tell from the specs on the other webpages, how the new M150 ACOG model differs from the other RCO’s? (Rifle Combat Optics)
Thanks.

Well the Marines use both a 20" rifle as well as the M4 carbine, hence the two RCO models (A4 & M4). The difference between these two simply being the reticles are calibrated for either a 20" rifle or 14.5" carbine as far as ballistics.

The new M150CP is basically the Army’s version of the M4 carbine RCO with the addition of flip-up lens covers for what amounts to $50 more over the original RCO M4. As the Army has basically adopted the carbine over the 20" rifle as standard compared to the Marines who still have large/larger quantites of both in active inventory.

Probably looking at something as simple as the big Army not wanting to adopt something off the shelf that was originally designed for the Marines.

Flip up caps and their (Trijicons) old web site said it had a laser filter? I dont see that now though, on their updated site? I never could figure that out unless it was a filter to keep from getting your eyes burned from being lazed?

The TA31RCOM150 is the TA31RCOM4 with the addition of the flip up covers - for the eyepiece and the killflash - as well as external windage and elevation adjusters. It is for sure marked M4 at the bottom of the lens inside.

I went through this the other day as a local shop only had the M150 and we were curious as to the complete specifications of the M150 and the M4. Couple of nice features on the M150. Both are very nice !

…my 2 cents.

adjustments (click/in at 100m) are different IIRC…
