Well half build. Saber Upper was complete and purchased here on EE. I put the stag lower together with a RRA lower parts kit. I wanted something basic. I am thinking of taking the Primary Weapon systems brake off for the total retro look. But I do like that brakes effectiveness.
Nothing fancy.

Decided to take the FSC556 off and go with a bird cage. I will put the FSC556 on a future build.

Makes me feel really old when an A2 build is considered “retro”.
:o
Nice blaster.
My, newest, cutting edge guns have flat tops with the carry handle installed. ![]()
Thanks. Sorry about the retro comment. A gun like this was my first AR except with no flash hider as it was during the first AWB.

That upper shot everything to the same POA/POI. I was able to get better groups with it and M855 that I was a CAR A3 Elite and a 10X scope and the same M855. I am glad it has a great new home!
Small world. Did you use a 25 yard zero because when I went to the range to confirm zero at 50 it was about 4 inches high. I also need to get a different sight tool as the one I had did not work ont he Trijicon sight. I had no idea you were the one who sold me the upper. Small world. to all posters. WS6 is an honest guy buy with confidents if he is selling something.

Thankyou for the +1. I have always accurately represented myself, what I sell, and my dealings with others. In this world of hyperbole and empty promise, if people come to find that they can count on you to perform the same, every time, and with integrity, you will go far. Period.
I do know that with Q3269 M855 just resting the stock on the arm of a lawn-chair at 100m using of course the A2 sights, I managed a 2.25MOA 5-shot group. Not bad at all for ammo that I couldn’t keep under 2.5MOA out of a CAR A3 Elite on a bi-pod using a 10X Leupold.
ETA: As listed in my add, the FSP is a Meprolite and not a Trijicon. I did a LOT of research when I purchased that FSP. I went with Meprolite as the FSP measures only .08 vs. mil-spec .07 while the Trijicon was .1. The Trijicon is like a telephone pole at anything past 100 yards. I felt that the Meprolite was the best FSP for this application.
ETA! I used the RIBZ zero on this rifle.

I think that you will like this method much better than stock, as it will get you closer on in the 1-300m range.
I put a lot of research into the A2 platform!
I like it. I was thinking to myself the other day how much I miss shooting a basic M16A2. Nice rifle.
Ain’t it the truth. I was a “butter bar” in the 82nd when we traded 1911’s, .38’s and A1’s in for M9’s and A2’s.
