Of course they just came out with a new and improved version. I just recently bought an RM06.
My only gripe with the RM is having to remove the MRDS to change batteries. The battery lasts so long that its not a real big issue. My best friend has been running an RM01 (non-adustable and cannot be turned off) on his Glock 17 for over a year and a half and he is still on the original battery. My Insight can also be changed from the top which is handy when the time comes.
Looks nice and the new 3.5 MOA dot option is a nice touch. The motion sensor is pretty handy. I have a Leupold VX-6 with the same sensor and its a nice feature to prolong the CR2032 in it if you’re at the range all day or forget to turn it off.
What is more important, looks like Leupold removed structural weak point in sight body. This weak point could lead to sight literally break in half when mounted using mount that was not perfectly flat (like factory dovetail mounts delivered in 11-mounts kit).
i wonder how this new rmr will stack up against the current offerings when mounted on a slide… i hope manufacturers are catching on to this new trend and designing an rmr that doesnt break after however many rounds.
True but still a PITA, especially if you don’t have tools on hand. All RMR’s could use this improvement. I like the price point of the delta point much better than the Trijicon, so the improvements are welcome.
What mounting options do we have for a co-witness AR mount? ADM makes a QD mount for the Insight MRDS and the Trijicon RMR but not for the Leupold. The only thing ADM has that would work is a mount with a short section of rail that appears to be their answer for a universal mount.
I called : They will gladly take your order but not in stock as of Yet : I learned that the hard way when I bought a scope from them. It took 2 months to arrive. When others had them In stock already:
