I couldn’t find a new member section (if there is one, kindly open my eyes and I will post there instead…), so I figured this was the best place. My name is Mike. I’m a former Navy Corpsman. I live in Illinois; wife, daughter, the works. I’m hoping to learn a few things on here. Hopefully that covers it.
Welcome aboard Mike. There’s a lot to learn here and quite a few professional & experienced shooters in attendance. Having said that, a lot of new member type questions have been asked and answered, many many times before, so if you haven’t done so, check out the knowledge based threads, that should give you quite a few hours to kill.

Appreciate the welcome. I have lurked here (and on another similar forum), so I know that the same questions get asked weekly–I won’t be that guy. I have noticed the atmosphere around here seems to be a little more laid back and friendly, which is what I’m looking for.
