To throw a tag-along, it seems like there hasn’t been a “final” decision on handling subforums. The general firearms area, for example, has both the big buttons and the old forum-style subforum navigation below it, then a list of all posts.
Perhaps just leaving the subcategories dropdown in place for filtering would be beneficial?
to add, eliminating the clickable subforum buttons/folders and leaving just the dropdown filter would clean things up a ton in places like the marketplace. There are so many subforum options there that it’s a mess
Yup. There’s three separate menus for the same list of subcategories on the same page. Seems like a lot of redundancy and screen clutter. Anyway… the dropdown list is what I use on desktop and mobile. Simple and quick with no need for scrolling.

Windows / Edge latest version = Fail
Since I had to log in to use M4C on my Windows machine it doesn’t appear that logging off and back in is required to for the update. I looked at the FAQ section for this new update = Fail. Curious what special dance might be required?
ps The light/dark color scheme on the old M4C was easy on the eyes.
My guess is that you set it on your phone and then looked on your desktop, or something like that.
You can still select WCAG light and dark in your settings and see if you like those better (and keep an eye out for that checkbox). BUT there were some overrides in the main site theme that I think were mucking with colors that peoplle were complaining about (like quotes being invisible). I’ve reverted to the most basic set of colors to see that things are legible and we can work.
Going forward, I’ll look at the other stuff in that original theme and see what in there we want to add back.
, where it places a blinking cursor somewhere randomly on the screen instead of where the typing is. Not a huge deal for typing, until I notice a typo and try to go fix it.
