I picked up my new LMT today and can’t wait to shoot it. I’ve been checking it over and everything looks good. I have a question for the LMT owners though. Do they always come with a scuffed up, worn looking mag?
Mine came with a C-products mag, though I think the FFL just stuck it in there as some sort of misguided thank you. I promptly removed the magpul follower and tossed the mag in the trash.
On a side note, enjoy your LMT! I certianly love my defender 2000!!!

The mag is a mil-spec mag and that is the way they are supposed to look. The dry film lube is easily blemished, but does not hurt anything.

Both of my factory LMTs from last month came with Okay mags. Yes, the USGI dry film mags look used even when new. They make you look salty right out out of the box.
Cool. I figured that Since they are a military supplier that having the mags look pretty wasn’t a priority. Just making sure.
