Hadn’t seen this posted here yet but Im digging the battery cap. Looks like a lot more firm “grasp” on the brightness knob than the relatively smooth factory cap.
The T1 mount might interest those who run this type of setup…
It looks like the battery cap stores a spare battery as well. If so - awesome! The only shortcoming I can see is that I’d like to mount it to the rear of my upper receiver and not on the side of my rails.
I just got in a pair of those, and will do some photos today. It doesn’t sore a spare cap. But the extra knurling really helps with gloved hands.
This thing is money if you ask me, I posted something on this over at the other place. I currently run the LT 724, but I am always looking:)
One last thing is the t-1 cover can be marred up real quick with a stupid quarter:D
That’s too bad. Otherwise, a waterproof spare battery compartment right on the optic would be awesome.
Do any real-world operators use an offset mount? I figure if champion shooters can use an offset RDS to great effect, it ought to have practical applications.
Use the gear effective to YOU. Don’t worry about who’s using what, try an offset optic, if it doesn’t work for you, bin or sell it.

Short answer is yes. They are using the LT-724 mount with Micro T-1. A .mil unit purchased a large number.
