My go to AR has a 12" Spikes BAR rail, its a nice rail but id really like a more narrow rail. Prefer to keep it 12-13" and thinking about a green color. Any reccomendations?
Google is your friend and just to name a few:

Are you looking for another quadrail? https://bravocompanyusa.com/cosmetic-blem-bcm-qrf-12-quad-rail-free-float-handguard-flat-dark-earth/
That is out of stock but looks like it was a good deal. Geiselle has a MK4 on sale for $211. Looks good as well
I’ve been very happy with this Unbranded AR V4 rail on the latest build. Light, but solid.

They’re doing 20% off for Labor Day too, till the 5th.
Centurion Arms
BCM
Cross Machine Tool
All of the above have solid rails that I use on a regular basis for my builds, and would use any without reservation.
Stickman, are you forgetting Midwest Industries or have things changed?
Nothing has changed, and MI is my go to mount for most things (though that has changed a bit with the new BCM mounts). MI makes affordable rails, equipment and accessories that I recommend on a regular basis to cops. Its a little different online because people tend to be looking for highest or upper end items. It is no slight against MI, and if someone is on a bit of a budget or just wants to keep a project from being a mega no expense gun, MI becomes a solid choice.
The above being said, the weapons that you tend to see in images are typically my own, so my choices shouldn’t be much of a shock to most people on the forums.

Icon Defense Drive Lock rail is probably the most solid slim profile rail out there. It’s made by the same guy who founded Mega, and is also marketed as the SOLGW M89 and Hodge S-Lock. It’s not available in green, but I’m sure you can get it Cerakoted. So far I’m very happy with the one I got.

Another one I’d like to use is the Hodge Pinch Lock. It’s a slightly larger profile than the Drive Lock, but looks to be pretty solid.
Agreed. I run a few Centurion Mlok 15” rails, an older CMR 14”, and recently grabbed a BCM Mlok 15”. I like them all, but prefer the Centurion Mlok rails over the rest. Slots at 3/6/9, radiuses between flats, and ample cooling/lightening holes. Works for me.
To keep from paying KAC prices, I went with a Larue 12” quad on my recent mk12 build, wrapped around one of Monty’s mk12 barrels. It’s a solid, rigid, heavy ass quad rail, but there’s just something about the aesthetics of the mounting nut/system that I like.
I don’t personally own one of the Cross Machine rails but one of the guys I shoot with has one and i think it’s solid, given what little I’ve ran it.
centurions older cmr rails are the cats meow
Think im going with Fortis.

Hodge rails do NOT use the Drivelock mechanism, they share an extrusion with the SOLGW M89/L89 rails but that’s it.
The M89/L89 Drivelock is leading the pack right now for rigidity/lockup.
