Newbie here that ventured over from the 1911 forum. I missed the opportunity to donate in the Kimber raffle we had there. I suspect I shall be spending much more time here now. Appears to have the same level of maturity as 1911 and not some “kid run” trash talking forum which I’m sure we have all experienced. I am excited to be here.

^^ You’re not kidding… Blown away myself. But thank you for the welcomes. I do live in VT and could probably help you with that being dipped part ;). Stickies are kind of my thing, love to read and learn. Found a lot of great info from Mr. Petrie himself and it tends to weed out some of the bs posts. Have never really been much of a poster because it’s already been said, or have nothing credible to add. Again thanks guys

Growing up is overrated. 
Congratulations and welcome. There is definitely a great deal of knowledge, experience, and passion here. This is “THE” place to learn about many different things. Don’t forget to share some pictures of your new rifle, and your thoughts about the training class.
