I’m friends with the guys out there. I’m doing a new build. Actually a couple of new builds, but anyway…
It’s gonna be a 16in. BCM hammer forged middy with the apex rifle length handguard setup.
I tossed it on a CMMG lower I had around for a different build but it’s actually going on a Noveske Gen 2 lower but it’s not built yet.
I’ve seen the handguards several times but had never really messed with one. They’re super light and super stiff. I’ve got a 9in Larue in a bag waiting to go on the other 16in. BCM middy I’m doing and the Apex setup is much, much lighter. I love the gator grip and the fact that I can slap a rail on it wherever I want.
I know, the top rail is cerakoted tan. They were out of rifle length top rails so Joe (owner) tossed in this one they had laying around from a display model. I’m getting the whole thing coated, or something anyway. I tossed on an A2 FH just to make it look right.
