Check out the new arrivals on http://www.czechpoint-usa.com I’m still waiting on the VZ 58 military folder that I ordered about 5 weeks ago so I periodically check their website for shipping info. While on the home page I see that they are introducing VZ 58 pistols in 7.62 and 5.56. I thought I’d give you guys the heads up. I’m tempted to buy one but my wife already gave me grief for buying the folder.
Which caliber are you considering? Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see the barrel length on the site. Did I overlook it?
I found the specs by clicking the vz 58 icon on the left of the page and scrolled down until I found the pistol. It states that the barrel is 11.9" as far as which caliber, I was thinking maybe a 556, but if I choose the 762 I could use the mags for my military folder in it.

The VZ rifles have issues when converting to a SBR.
I wonder how difficult it will be to attach a stock for a nice little SBR.
Nice to have another option in the VZ 58 family. It really is a fantastic weapon that IMHO is very under appreciated for what it is. My folder is one of my favorite 7.62X39 rifles and my Tactical version is going to be a great project rifle…
that would be nice for a sbr, but gonna hold out and wait till they bring in the 7" version.
