New American Defense #17 with rail?

I have heard that ADM has a variant of the #17 mount with a rail on top of the mount instead of the Surefire interface. True? (It’s not on their website.)

Although it appears to be marketed as an attachment point for lights and VFGs, etc., might it be used as a riser for rail-attached sights (e.g., the ADM B2 mount)?

Thanks for the response, but, I think Grant’s post refers to the older AD-17 that was designed to take the SureFire 951 system and replace the thumbscrew clamp that screwed into the integral rings of that light. I do not believe it has the rail interface on top.

The AD-17 I am referring to is pretty new, if it exists.

I have a Larue 17 equivelent mount with a ARMS rail section on it that I have a Tasco Optima mounted on. The ARMS rail section should fit on the ADM 17 mount as well if thats what you need. I got the rail section from ARMS for about $15.
